Southern Gaza Hit by Bombing in Three Waves
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, an Al Mayadeen correspondent announced that Israeli warplanes bombed various areas in the city of Rafah in southern gaza three times moments ago.
Palestinian sources also reported Israeli fighter jets flying at low altitude over southern Gaza.
This comes after the Palestinian government media office in Gaza stated yesterday that since the declaration of the end of hostilities, the occupiers have violated the ceasefire 47 times.
The government information office saeid these actions represent clear breaches of the ceasefire agreement and end-of-war protocols, as well as international humanitarian law. They include direct shooting at civilians, deliberate attacks, and detentions of several non-combatant citizens.
The statement detailed that these Israeli attacks involved military vehicles and tanks stationed near residential areas; electric cranes equipped with sensors and remote targeting systems; and quadcopter drones continuously flying over populated neighborhoods to shoot at and directly target civilians.
The government information office reported that these violations have been monitored across all provinces of the Gaza Strip without exception. This indicates Israel’s noncompliance with halting its aggressions while continuing a policy of killing and terrorizing Palestinians.
The statement added that since the ceasefire was declared, 38 Palestinians have been killed and 143 injured due to ongoing violations.
It concluded by holding Israel responsible for these acts and called on the United nations and guarantor parties to urgently intervene to force Israel to stop its repeated aggressions and protect defenseless civilians in Gaza.
