Al-Qassam: We Remain Committed to Our Obligations and Are Unaware of Clashes in Rafah

The ⁤Qassam Brigades, ​the military​ wing of the palestinian Islamic⁣ Resistance‍ Movement ​(Hamas), issued a statement today, Sunday, responding​ to allegations of‍ ceasefire violations⁢ following the Rafah incident. The statement emphasized the ⁤Brigades’ full commitment to all⁣ agreements, especially the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip.

Regarding reports of‍ clashes in⁣ Rafah, the Qassam Brigades said ⁢they⁣ have‍ no knowledge of any events or confrontations ⁢occurring in⁣ that area.

The Brigades attributed‍ this lack​ of information to “red zones” controlled by Israeli forces, where contact with ⁢remaining resistance fighters has⁤ been cut off⁣ since hostilities resumed against ​Gaza in⁤ March ‌this year.

The ⁢statement underlined: “Since that date, we have had no information on whether our fighters have been martyred or are still alive.”

Consequently, the Qassam Brigades rejected ‌any connection with incidents happening in⁢ these areas and declared:⁤ “We​ cannot ⁤communicate‌ with any of our ⁤fighters there if they are still alive.”

It is noteworthy that Israel has ‌launched ‌attacks on ⁣southern Gaza since this morning under ‍the pretext of ceasefire⁤ violations.
