Hamas: Zionist Regime Violated Ceasefire from Day One
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Hamas responded to recent developments and ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip with a statement.
In its statement, Hamas declared: “We remain fully committed to implementing the agreement and no mediator or guarantor has presented any evidence of violations or obstruction on our part.”
The movement stressed that the occupying regime has violated the ceasefire since day one by committing multiple crimes and attacks against civilians. Thes violations include Israeli military activities outside the ”yellow line” defined in the agreement.
Hamas further stated that Israel has not adhered to humanitarian protocols, blocking many types of food supplies and failing to deliver necessary materials for reconstruction and infrastructure rehabilitation.
The statement added: “The occupiers persist in their obstinacy by delaying the release of Palestinian women and children who remain in captivity. They have also mutilated the bodies of martyrs, committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.”
The Islamic resistance Movement reiterated that Israel bears full obligation for any deterioration or collapse of the ceasefire agreement. It urged mediators to intervene immediatly to halt ongoing Israeli aggression.
