Al-Mashat: Assassination of Army Chief Won’t Disrupt Yemen’s Support for Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Yemen’s Saba News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, expressed condolences on the martyrdom of muhammad Al-Ghamari, the late Chief of Staff of Yemen’s army.
He stated that the martyrdom of Al-Ghamari will not affect the performance and operations of their forces. “He was not alone, and we are thankful that ther are many like this martyr. Our blessed Quranic path and great leader have trained numerous men and commanders,” he said.
The chairman reaffirmed yemen’s steadfast position in supporting palestine and backing Gaza. He declared that this path “will continue with persistence and strength” and that “sacrifices will only fortify and expand this cause.”
Al-Mashat also noted that God witnesses all sacrifices made by the Yemeni people, emphasizing that Yemen possesses both spiritual and material capabilities to seek revenge. He described war as naturally progressing through such stages.
He warned those who serve the zionist enemy or others will face punishment.
The head of the council insisted that despite Israeli claims aiming at propaganda gains, attacks on Yemeni territory and citizens should not be regarded as a victory for the Zionist enemy.
Al-Mashat added that Americans have exploited international humanitarian mechanisms to benefit the zionist enemy-a despicable criminal act they had not expected.
The chairman confirmed they resolved this issue quickly through efforts by Yemeni security agencies, which fully closed this loophole in a short time.
