U.S. Deploys New Military Equipment to Northeast Syria
A Syrian human rights center has reported the transfer of new US equipment to northeastern Syria.
The English section of webangah News Agency cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which stated that a US cargo plane carrying two military helicopters landed at the Kharab al-Jir base near Rimelan in Al-Hasakah province, northeastern Syria.
According to the report, the aircraft transported air defense systems and heavy weapons as part of efforts to strengthen US military presence at bases across northeastern Syria.
