Hamas Leader in Gaza Commits to Full Retrieval of Israeli Captives’ Bodies
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Khalil al-Hayya, a senior hamas leader in Gaza, stated that the movement is serious about recovering all bodies of israeli detainees held in Gaza.
He emphasized that although the process faces many difficulties, efforts to extract these bodies continue without interruption.
Al-Hayya affirmed: “We remain committed to fully implementing the agreement related to Gaza and are following through on what has been agreed upon with Palestinian factions.”
He added that Hamas hopes for an increase in humanitarian aid to Gaza in order to meet the needs of its population.
The Hamas official also said: “What we have heard from mediating countries and the U.S. president assures us that the war in Gaza has come to an end.”
Mousa Abu Marzouk: Pursuing a unified Palestinian vision
Mousa Abu Marzouk, member of Hamas’s political bureau and head of its international relations office, told Russia’s Sputnik news agency that former U.S. President Donald Trump presented a plan consisting essentially of two parts: first, ending hostilities and halting aggressions; second, addressing post-war issues and arrangements.
Abu Marzouk explained that Hamas consulted various Palestinian factions, figures, movements,as well as friendly countries. They reached agreement on the first part-ceasing war activities, delivering aid shipments, withdrawing from Gaza areas involved in conflict-and this was realized during a meeting held at Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt.
Though, he said the second part represents a national comprehensive issue beyond any single faction’s authority. It requires broad consensus among all Palestinian groups due to its strategic dimensions.
Abu Marzouk stressed: “We are ready for any future negotiations without preconditions. The decisive factor will be Israel’s genuine willingness during each round of talks to commit fully to agreements and fully end hostilities so Palestinians can attain their legitimate rights-including living with dignity on their land and establishing an independent Palestinian state.”
