Hamas Unveils Security Plan to Govern Gaza After War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the palestinian Shihab news agency, Ismail Al-thawabteh, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, stated that the government has developed extensive programs to establish security, uphold the rule of law, provide aid, and improve conditions in Gaza strip after two years of genocidal conflict by the Israeli regime.
Under this plan, security, food supply, medicine, and shelter are top priorities during this initial phase. Following intensive efforts by security agencies, safety levels have improved by more than 90 percent.
Al-Thawabteh added that the second phase will focus on ensuring food security and humanitarian aid reach all affected households. Later, medical supplies and equipment will be brought in to rebuild healthcare systems in hospitals and clinics.
The Gaza official also noted that over 22,000 wounded or ill individuals urgently need transportation for treatment involving half a million surgeries.Simultaneously occurring,288,000 homeless families require tents or temporary mobile homes.
Al-Thawabteh called for fully reopening border crossings to facilitate delivery of essential materials for infrastructure reconstruction. He emphasized that approximately 70 million tons of rubble must be cleared from the area.
According to Hamas authorities, Rafah Crossing will reopen soon after repairs. Priority access will be given to patients requiring travel as well as students.
He concluded by stating that the government is advancing toward comprehensive recovery efforts and urged citizens to support official teams so this critical phase is completed swiftly.
