Netanyahu’s Move on Gaza Ceasefire Sparks Controversy
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid announced that Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, has appointed Michael Eisenberg, an Israeli-American businessman, as his personal representative on the committee overseeing the Gaza ceasefire implementation.
This appointment has generated controversy as Eisenberg is one of the founders of an American company responsible for distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza. The company is perceived as a trap and ambush for thousands of hungry Palestinians.
The global reaction intensified after reports emerged that Palestinians were shot directly while attempting to access food aid at this company’s distribution site. Yiftach Dayan, director of the socio-economic faculty in the Israeli regime, admitted that this company caused a disaster for Israel and further weakened its standing internationally.
