Iraqi Analyst: U.S. Is Aware of the Depth of Tehran-Baghdad Strategic Ties
According to the English section of webangah News agency,citing Al-maalomah via Mehr News Agency,Iraqi political analyst Saeed Al-Badri emphasized that Iraq maintains strong and strategic ties with Iran,a fact well known to the American side.
He added that Iraq cannot sever its historic and solid relations with Iran,considering it a strategic partner.
Al-Badri noted that because the American side is aware of the extent of these ties, it currently does not prioritize Iraq or specifically Tehran-Baghdad relations.
He stated that Iraq upholds fixed principles and will not pursue normalization of relations with the Zionist regime openly or covertly. Furthermore, the country’s constitution prohibits using Iraqi territory to launch aggression against its neighbors.
