Turkish President Visits Kuwait

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, leading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Kuwait as part of his regional tour of Gulf countries and was welcomed by the country’s Emir.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu and Mehr News Agency, Turkish President recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived ⁢in ⁢Kuwait on Tuesday ⁤as part of his scheduled visit to Gulf countries, including Qatar and Oman.

Anadolu’s correspondent reported that Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-sabah,​ the‌ Emir of Kuwait, officially received President Erdoğan at the capital’s international airport.

Following​ the ⁣reception ceremony, President Erdoğan proceeded to Bayan Palace for a bilateral‌ meeting⁢ with the Emir.‌ Additional talks between delegations from both countries are also planned.

After negotiations and signing agreements between Turkey ⁢and kuwait, erdoğan ​is expected to attend an official​ dinner‍ hosted by the Emir.

The Turkish delegation‌ accompanying President Erdoğan includes‍ Minister ⁤of Foreign ⁢Affairs Hakan Fidan; Ibrahim Kalin,head of Intelligence Service; Minister of Energy and Natural resources Alparslan Bayraktar; Minister​ of⁤ Treasury and​ Finance Mehmet Şimşek; Minister of Defense Yaşar Güler; Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank; and⁤ Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.

This tour covering Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman is conducted ​upon invitation ‌from the leaders of these ​three ⁣nations. It will continue until Thursday. The itinerary will address various‍ international and regional issues with particular focus on​ developments in Gaza.
