Trump’s Deputy Claims Some Violence in Gaza Does Not Signal End of Peace
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, US Vice President J. D. Vance announced on Tuesday the opening of a civil-military cooperation center for Gaza’s reconstruction.
The US Vice President, without condemning continued Israeli occupation forces’ crimes against Gaza’s oppressed population and ceasefire breaches in the strip, claimed that some violence in Gaza “does not mean the end of peace.” He added that “the situation is excellent and we are achieving astonishing progress!”
Ignoring numerous ceasefire violations by Israeli forces, Vance asserted that implementing Trump’s plan (allegedly to stop Israel’s genocide against Gazans) is progressing better than expected. He emphasized that every country plays a role in enforcing the ceasefire in Gaza and insisted no demands will be forced upon any ally. “What we are doing now focuses on Gaza’s future-that is exactly what President Trump requested,” he said.He stressed that “the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip will hold,” urging everyone to take pride in what has been achieved there and expressing optimism about this outcome.
