Trump: I will discuss tariffs with Xi Jinping in South Korea

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing‌ Al Jazeera via ‌Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on⁣ Tuesday that he will discuss tariffs‍ with the Chinese president during his visit ‍to South Korea.⁢ He emphasized‌ that tariffs are a matter of national security.

The president added that ‍India and Pakistan threatened to impose tariffs on each other, which helped halt their conflict. he noted, “We have become a wealthy country and will be‌ able to pay ⁤off our debts. Without tariffs,we would face an economic recession.”

Trump claimed that tariffs have added $31 billion to the U.S. budget.
