How Many Palestinian Prisoners Are Held in Israeli Detention Facilities?
The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Committee has reported on the number of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Masirah via Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Committee has announced that over 9,100 Palestinian detainees are currently held in Israeli prisons.
The report notes that conditions for these prisoners are extremely harsh. The occupying military forces have adopted policies of repression and denial of medical services.
During a recent prisoner exchange between Hamas and israel, several Palestinian prisoners were released. Many suffer irreversible injuries caused by severe torture while imprisoned by Israel.
