Venezuela Declares Support for Colombia Against the United States
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Russia Today, Venezuela’s defense minister announced that his country is ready to support Colombia against increasing pressure from the united States.
He added that Colombia should be aware that venezuelan forces stand behind it and are deployed along border areas to counter any threats to the security of both nations. “Trump has not only insulted Colombia’s president but also disrespected the entire Colombian people. Any country or individual who does not fall under America’s imperialist flag is at risk and faces accusations,” he stated.
On Sunday, U.S. President donald Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social claiming: “Gustavo Petro, president of Colombia, is an illegal drug trafficker who strongly encourages extensive drug production on both large and small farms across Colombia.”
