London Calls for Full Reopening of Rafah and All Gaza Aid Crossings
UK Foreign Secretary announces: We want the Rafah crossing and other aid routes to Gaza fully open.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated on Wednesday that there is an urgent need for increased humanitarian aid access to Gaza. “We want the Rafah crossing, along with other aid routes into the Gaza Strip, to be fully open,” she said.
The UK Foreign Secretary added that civilians in Gaza are eagerly awaiting humanitarian assistance.
Without addressing repeated ceasefire violations by Israeli forces, Cooper expressed support for US efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and called on all parties to honor thier commitments.
