Israeli Regime Forces Raid a Neighborhood in Northeast Occupied Jerusalem
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Shehab News Agency, Israeli forces launched a series of raids across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, Nablus, Jenin, Tubas, Hebron, and Ramallah. The operations involved clashes that resulted in injuries and detentions among Palestinians.
In the early hours of the morning, israeli troops attacked the main entrance of qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied jerusalem. During this assault, they shot and wounded a young Palestinian man.
The attack sparked intense clashes between occupying forces and camp residents. Local sources reported at least three people injured during the raid.
Concurrently, the Israeli army stormed Hizma settlement northeast of Jerusalem’s Old City. By deploying stun grenades, they instilled fear throughout the area.
In Jenin, occupying forces raided Silat al-Harithiya town where they arrested Raed Al-Saadi-a recently released prisoner. They also launched attacks on Tayasir village in Tubas and Al-Yamoun village west of Jenin.
Hebron was not spared from these incursions; Israeli troops entered Abu Kutaylah and Al-Jami’a neighborhoods while besieging Al-Ahli Hospital.
In Nablus city itself, Israeli forces advanced from multiple directions including Hawara checkpoint as well as eastern districts like Al-Dahiyeh, Sheikh Munis neighborhood and Rafidia. They also surrounded Palestine Ahliya University campus along with Rafidia Hospital before raiding several shops. During these confrontations two young men were arrested in Burqa village while a teenager was detained in Sebastia.
In Jericho area too-israeli soldiers stormed Aqbat Jaber refugee camp. Meanwhile local sources reported soldiers entering Zawata village west of Nablus where another Palestinian youth was arrested.
The night-long campaign continued with an assault on Alumayer village northeast of Ramallah by occupation forces.
