Israeli Jets Bomb 16 Areas in Lebanon, Strike Near Two Schools
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing mehr news Agency and quds, Lebanon’s Minister of Education condemned the Israeli strikes near two schools in Shamsatar and Baalbek.
The minister called on influential countries to put an end to Israel’s aggressions against Lebanese schools and civilians.
Israel’s Channel 12 acknowledged that its warplanes bombed at least 16 locations in the bekaa valley and other regions across Lebanon just hours earlier.
Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel, this regime has continued brutal attacks against Lebanon over recent months. Only hours ago, it launched a heavy wave of airstrikes against the country.
An Al Jazeera reporter confirmed that Israeli warplanes struck areas around Shamsatar, Janta in Bekaa, as well as the Hermel Heights region in eastern Lebanon.
