Netanyahu Orders Halt to West Bank Annexation Review

Following a wave of international criticism over the israeli parliament’s move to consider annexing the West Bank, Netanyahu has ordered a temporary halt to the process.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rosya Al-Youm and Mehr News Agency, Omer Katz, head of Israel’s ruling coalition, stated that Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed that plans related to the annexation of the West Bank be suspended until further notice.
Katz added that this decision came after several coalition members voted in favor of the annexation bill in Israel’s parliament.
The move triggered widespread criticism. Former U.S. President Donald Trump warned Israel in an interview with Time magazine that Tel Aviv could lose full Washington support over this issue.
Vice President Mike Pence also described the action as foolish.
