Hamas Responds to Trump’s Opposition to West Bank Annexation by Israel

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency, Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesperson in Gaza, told Al Jazeera that the movement reaffirms its commitment to the terms of the ceasefire.
He added, “We appreciate U.S. President Donald trump’s statements opposing the annexation of the West Bank and believe these remarks are constructive and beneficial for maintaining the ceasefire agreement.”
The Hamas spokesman further stated, “We look forward to achieving Palestinian national consensus on resolving all outstanding issues related to governance in Gaza after the war.”
He also called on Israel to fulfill its commitments by ending aggression and lifting the blockade, allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza.
President Donald Trump told Time magazine that Israel would lose all U.S. support if it proceeded with annexing parts of the West Bank.
