Zelensky: I Will Not Accept Land Swaps in Meeting with Putin
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Bloomberg, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that he dose not recognize any territorial exchanges during potential peace negotiations with Russia.
He added that Ukraine has not yet used the weapons provided by the United States to strike targets deep inside Russian territory.
Zelensky expressed hope that Washington will approve delivering Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
In response, former U.S. President Donald Trump denied early Thursday a Wall Street Journal report claiming U.S. restrictions on long-range missile use by Ukrainian forces had been lifted. Trump saeid Washington is not involved in the missiles Ukrainian forces use for attacks on Russian soil.
Notably, during his visit last week, Trump told Zelensky that Ukraine would not receive Tomahawk long-range missiles and insisted this war must end without them.
