North Korean Leader Likely to Meet Trump Soon

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masry Al-Youm, South korea has indicated a high likelihood of a new meeting between Donald Trump and kim Jong Un next week.
A South Korean official announced on Friday that there is a “significant” possibility Trump will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his visit to South korea, where he will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
The Minister of Unification for South Korea stated, ”I believe there is a significant chance that Donald trump will meet with Kim Jong Un during his trip to the Korean Peninsula next week.”
Chung Dong-yong told reporters that it appears North Korea has shifted its focus toward the United States. Based on various indicators, there is a real possibility this important meeting will take place.
Trump had previously expressed hope for another meeting with Kim Jong Un within this calendar year.
Last month, kim said in a speech that he retains “pleasant memories” of his meetings with Trump. he added that if Washington abandons its “delusional” demand for unilateral denuclearization by Pyongyang, he would welcome renewed negotiations with the US.
