Jordan: No Military Role in West Bank or Gaza Strip

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Jordan’s official government spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, stated that Jordan will ​never assume a military role in the West Bank or Gaza ​Strip.

He emphasized Jordan’s support for political and humanitarian efforts​ aimed at‌ alleviating the ‍suffering of the Palestinian people and establishing their self-reliant state.

Al-Momani added that⁣ recent Israeli policies ​toward the West Bank are hostile. He also referenced opposition from the United​ States ⁢and other⁢ countries against Israel’s annexation plans of parts of the West Bank.
