UNRWA: Gaza’s Situation Has Not Improved Since Ceasefire

The United Nations relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the amount of aid entering the Gaza Strip falls far short of what was agreed upon in the ceasefire deal. According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia al-Youm, 600 trucks where supposed to deliver goods daily, but this target has not been met.
UNRWA added that heavy equipment is urgently needed to clear roads and streets throughout Gaza.
Despite some humanitarian aid arriving, UNRWA emphasized that residents do not feel any notable enhancement. Hundreds of thousands of displaced people remain sleeping on streets without tents due to insufficient supplies.
The Gaza Ministry of Health also reported that medical and health conditions have not improved since the ceasefire was implemented.
It is indeed significant to note that despite Hamas showing considerable flexibility in pursuing a ceasefire agreement, Israel has not fully complied with its terms.
