Rubio: I Consulted Netanyahu on Gaza; We Will Not Trade Taiwan!

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday during a flight aboard President Donald Trump’s plane heading to Malaysia that he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding alleged joint efforts to implement a plan to end conflicts in Gaza.
The US Secretary of State told reporters, “An American team is working on passing a united Nations resolution or reaching an international agreement authorizing a multinational force in Gaza. We have received proposals for forming an international force there, and we will discuss this issue with Qatar at a meeting scheduled for tomorrow.”
According to Sputnik News Agency, marco Rubio then made claims contrary to the country’s usual deceptive rhetoric, stating: “Washington will not trade its support for Taiwan in upcoming negotiations with China.”
He insisted, “If others are worried that we might recieve favorable trade concessions from China in exchange for abandoning Taiwan, no one is considering that.”
Trump and Xi Jinping are expected to meet in South Korea in the coming days.
