Wall Street Reports: The Real Reason Behind Trump’s Opposition to Netanyahu’s Plan
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Masirah, reported that The Wall Street Journal disclosed how former U.S. President Donald Trump’s opposition to the Israeli regime’s annexation plan for the West Bank is not as straightforward as commonly believed.
According to the report, trump’s resistance is not intended as a reprimand or criticism of israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Wall Street Journal added that Trump aims to reduce pressure on Netanyahu and ensure the normalization of relations between arab countries and Tel Aviv.
It is worth noting that while Trump publicly opposed the West Bank annexation plan, he had previously stated that Israel’s territory was too small and should be expanded.
