Thousands of Unexploded Bombs Remain Throughout the Gaza Strip

Thousands of unexploded bombs in the Gaza Strip have made the area extremely dangerous for Palestinian displaced families.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shihab, estimates indicate that more than 20,000 unexploded bombs, fragments, and explosive munitions are scattered across the Gaza Strip.
This figure is considered unprecedented globally.Forty percent of residential neighborhoods in the strip rank among the most contaminated areas. Additionally, about 3,000 tons of waste-including scrap metal and war remnants-remain in Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Jabalia. The cleanup process is expected to take ten years.
seven thousand tons of unexploded ordnance exist throughout Gaza. This situation has effectively turned the strip into a ticking time bomb.
