Trump: On Average, I Have Ended One War Every Month!
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Sky News via Mehr News Agency, US President Donald Trump repeated his claim of having ended eight wars during his visit to Malaysia. The remark came at the signing ceremony for a broad ceasefire agreement between Thailand adn Cambodia.
Trump,one of the signatories to the peace agreement,asserted,”This is one of eight wars that my administration has ended in just eight months; on average,we have ended one war each month with only one remaining.”
He also claimed,”I cannot imagine any president before me even resolving a single war. They don’t end wars; they start them.”
Trump taking credit for intervening in negotiations to settle the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand added, “On behalf of the United states, it is an honor to have helped resolve this conflict that had lasted five days.”
The signing ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur shortly after Trump’s arrival for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit.
He added: “There was important bloodshed ongoing. then we stopped it very quickly. we achieved something many said was unachievable.”
