Abdul Latif Rashid States Position on Iraq’s Parliamentary Elections

According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and the official website of the Iraqi Presidency,Omar Ahmed,Head of the High self-reliant Electoral Commission of Iraq,and Amer Mousa,Head of Iraq’s Election Department,met with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid on Sunday.
During the meeting, they reviewed the commission’s latest preparations for the upcoming elections. The discussion covered technical and logistical plans as well as measures taken to ensure election integrity and openness.
The President emphasized his full support for the commission’s efforts to organize a fair and obvious electoral process that reflects voters’ true will.
He also stressed the importance of providing all necessary resources to guarantee a successful parliamentary election.
Meanwhile, Omar Ahmed and Amer Mousa highlighted their commitment to completing all technical and administrative procedures required to secure a healthy and transparent election process that represents citizens’ aspirations and ensures their right to vote freely. They expressed appreciation for Rashid’s support in these efforts.
