U.S. Describes Two-Day Trade Talks with China as “Excellent

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, US Treasury Secretary Scott Batson announced today, Sunday, that tariff increases on Chinese goods were averted, and Beijing agreed to postpone implementing the new export licensing system for rare earth elements for one year.
The US Treasury Secretary added that details regarding the TikTok social system agreement have been resolved. The presidents of the United States and China can finalize this agreement during their meeting in South Korea this Thursday.
He then stated: “our two-day trade meeting with China was excellent.”
Scott Batson expressed hope that disputed issues between China and the United States will be resolved following the presidents’ meeting on thursday.
