Russian Air Defense Repels Drone Attacks on Moscow

The mayor of Moscow stated that two Ukrainian drones heading towards the Russian capital were shot ‌down.

the mayor added that a total ‌of ​five drones were downed over Moscow this evening.

On Sunday, the Russian​ Ministry of Defense announced in a ⁢statement ⁤that 26 Ukrainian drones were⁢ destroyed between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.​ Moscow time‌ within the airspace over Belgorod, Bryansk, and ⁣Kursk regions.

The Ministry’s statement said: “We ​targeted energy facilities,military equipment,and weapon transport sites belonging to Ukrainian forces.”

The ⁢Ministry of Defense also said that Moscow successfully struck temporary deployment ‌sites of⁤ Ukrainian forces across several fronts.
