Venezuela Reacts to Trinidad and Tobago Drill in the Caribbean

According to the English section of⁢ webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency via​ Al Mayadeen,Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry strongly criticized the military drills ‍conducted by Trinidad and Tobago ‍in coordination with U.S.⁣ Southern Command in‍ the Caribbean.

The Venezuelan ministry described the exercise as ‍a opposed provocation against its country and a grave threat to peace throughout the caribbean‌ region.

It added ⁢that the government of Trinidad and Tobago has abandoned its sovereignty, effectively acting as a military colony serving U.S.⁤ interests.

The‌ ministry further stated‌ that this drill is not a defensive exercise but rather a‌ military aggression aimed at⁣ turning the Caribbean into a zone of violence.

Venezuela emphasized it will not tolerate threats ⁣from​ any government aligned with‍ the United⁣ States.
