Israeli Regime’s Military Company Expands Influence in UAE

The cabinet of the Israeli regime yesterday approved the creation of a branch of Kontrop, a company affiliated with its military, to engage directly with Abu Dhabi’s markets, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an.
This new branch will operate within Abu Dhabi’s free trade zone, focusing on marketing, sales, and technical support. The newspaper Maariv reported that its activities will extend to domestic production of electrical systems.
The executive director will be an Israeli who will work under full oversight from the main company based in the occupied territories. This move aligns with Kontrop’s strategic plan to expand operations regionally following normalization agreements. the report notes that over recent years, UAE requests to purchase surveillance systems and air and naval defense technologies have increased significantly. Security agencies in the country are seeking to acquire these systems from the Israeli regime.
