Europe Calls on China to Play a Role in Ending the Ukraine War

He added that the European Union seeks constructive and sustainable relations with China and aims to strengthen cooperation to address global challenges.
The European official emphasized the need for tangible progress following recent EU-China talks to balance trade and economic relations between both sides.
Costa voiced serious concern about China’s expanding export controls on rare earth elements. he urged Premier Li to restore supply chains for these materials as quickly as possible, ensuring they are smooth, reliable, and predictable.
He also called on China to leverage its influence over Russia to help end the war in ukraine.
