Israeli Regime Army Disbands a Platoon

The Israeli military is disbanding one of its battalions.
The Israeli army chief has decided to disband the Haredi battalion known as Tomer within the Givati Brigade, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Ma’an and Mehr News Agency.
This decision follows a failure to recruit large numbers of Haredi youth into the Israeli military, the report stated.
Earlier, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz quoted Israeli military sources reporting that thousands of soldiers have deserted since the war against Gaza began.
An Israeli army officer admitted that these numbers far exceed those officially reported by the media.
Additionally, it was recently reported that at least eight Haredi Jewish draft dodgers were arrested at Ben Gurion Airport.
