Trump Issues Cautious Response to Russia’s Successful Nuclear Missile Test

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, US President Donald Trump responded with apparent concern to Russian President vladimir Putin’s announcement of a successful test of the intercontinental nuclear cruise missile “Burevestnik.”
Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “They are not messing around with us,” adding, “And neither are we messing around with them!”
Regarding potential new sanctions against Russia, he said he would announce his decision at the appropriate time and added, “You will find out.”
Trump also addressed discussions about the European Union using frozen Russian assets to fund military aid for Ukraine.He emphasized that he is not involved in those talks and stated, “You have to ask the European Union. I’m not part of that issue.”
Yesterday, Putin announced that the burevestnik missile successfully completed its latest test flight and described it as a unique weapon. Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the Russian General Staff who accompanied Putin during his visit to a command center, noted that in an October test launch this missile traveled 14,000 kilometers.
