King Abdullah II: Jordan Will Not Deploy Forces to Gaza

according to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al-Rai, king Abdullah II of Jordan declared that Jordan will not dispatch forces to the Gaza Strip.He emphasized that Jordan is politically closely connected to developments in Gaza.
the king added that both Jordan and Egypt are prepared to train Palestinian security forces.
Abdullah II stressed that maintaining peace requires support for the Palestinian police,stating that Jordan and Egypt are ready to train a meaningful number of these forces,but this effort will take time.
He further noted that deploying armed patrols inside Gaza is a situation no country wants to enter. Nations would oppose requests to send troops aimed at enforcing peace in the Gaza Strip.
The king underscored the major difference between imposing peace and maintaining it. He questioned what the mission of security forces inside Gaza should be, expressing hope they act as peacekeepers as no one desires forced peacekeeping operations.
