According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Ria Novosti, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Venezuela on Monday.
The document was published on October 27 on the official Russian legal information portal.
The law states that the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela concerning strategic partnership and cooperation has been approved.
The agreement notes that both parties strongly oppose unilateral coercive and restrictive measures, including extraterritorial actions that violate the united Nations Charter and also established global norms and principles of international law.
