Russia Protests U.S. «Golden Shield» in Space

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik adn Mehr News Agency, Russia’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Monday denouncing ​the US Golden Shield initiative as a clear example of deploying weapons in space for military operations.

The statement highlighted the growing ⁢risk ⁢of space becoming a domain for aggression⁣ and warfare.It warned that ⁣enhancing orbital interception capabilities within the framework of the US missile defense system Golden Shield poses a threat to arms control efforts⁤ in space.
