The English‌ section of webangah ‌news Agency,citing Mehr ‌News Agency,reported that the Anatolian news agency confirmed an earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitude struck western Turkey.

According to Anatolia, the ⁢epicenter was in Balıkesir​ Province in western⁣ Turkey, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
