Moscow Accuses West of Seeking to Fragment Russia

According to the English section​ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News​ Agency and ⁤Russia Today, ⁢Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of Russia’s National Security Council, stated that the West is actively trying to break Russia into multiple smaller⁣ states to dominate them.

Shoigu emphasized that Western efforts to portray the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union as ⁣occupying and colonial powers are destined to fail.

He added that the primary ‍mission of Moscow’s current ‍government is to strengthen peace among various ⁣ethnic groups within the country.

Shoigu ⁤also highlighted that unlike the United States’ “melting pot” approach, which erases unique national⁢ identities, Russia⁤ serves as a model for interethnic relations.
