After Earthquake Strikes Turkey, Egypt Also Feels Tremors

Shortly after last nightS earthquake in Turkey, media reports indicate a seismic event occurred in Egypt.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Maan, following a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in western Turkey, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hadath network reported a 5.8 magnitude quake in the Marsa Matrouh area of northwestern Egypt.
Last night, the epicenter of the Turkish earthquake was identified as Balıkesir province in western Turkey.
The official responsible for the Sındırgı district in Balıkesir stated that several buildings collapsed due to the quake but no casualties were reported.
