Tel Aviv Appeals to Washington to Continue Attacks on Lebanon

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Israeli media sources reported that Tel Aviv has asked the United States to persist in breaching the ceasefire with Lebanon.
The report states that Israeli sources have sought to justify these attacks by claiming that Hezbollah has strengthened its missile capabilities in recent months. this request from Israel to Washington reflects complete coordination between the two sides regarding violations of the Lebanon ceasefire.
Earlier, Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar revealed that the Israeli army has recently escalated a series of attacks deep inside Lebanon, notably targeting Hezbollah-linked positions. These operations are directly overseen by U.S. officials from within Israeli command centers.
According to Israel’s Kan Network, American officers are present at the northern command headquarters in Safed and monitor operations moment-by-moment. This means every attack inside Lebanon is carried out with Washington’s “green light.”
Al-Akhbar adds that Washington’s role has shifted from being a “mediator” to a “partner in managing balance.” The implications of this partnership go beyond just targeting Hezbollah; rather, Washington opposes any ceasefire in Lebanon outright and only agrees on “controlling the situation.”
