Israel Turns to Financial Promises to Prevent Zionist Exodus

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Zionist website Calcalist reported that Israel has resorted to economic measures, including a five-year tax exemption, to encourage Jews to immigrate to the occupied territories.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich proposed this plan, which has yet to be approved. Speaking at a meeting in Eilat,he said the Tel Aviv cabinet is striving to promote Jewish immigration into these territories.
If implemented, this move would mark a frist for the occupied territories and highlight how deeply Israel faces a reverse migration crisis and flight from the region.
Economic experts have warned about potential consequences of such policies, including reduced government revenue due to diminished tax income.

A report by the Knesset Research and Information Center reveals alarming figures showing that between 2020 and 2024 more than 145,000 Israelis-primarily immigrants-have left these areas.
According to parts disclosed by Israeli newspaper Yedioth ahronoth from this report, between 2020 and 2024 outflows exceeded inflows by 145,900 people leaving beyond those arriving for residence in these regions.
