Hashd al-Shaabi Launches Latest Strike on ISIS Positions in Iraq

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing al-Maloomah via Mehr News Agency, reported that a security source in Anbar province confirmed four desert areas containing ⁢vital ISIS strongholds have been ‌cleared in the west of the province.

The source stated that Popular Mobilization‍ Forces launched an ​extensive security operation targeting the Al-Shaibani, Umm al-Wahoush, Abu ⁢Jird, and‌ Sidaan areas west of ​Anbar.

These regions had become ⁢ISIS havens due to their tough terrain.Additionally, a network of caves⁤ and winding tunnels provided militants with secure hiding​ places.
