According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the newspaper Al-Akhbar, as Israelis persist in trying to keep Lebanese society gripped by intimidation and fear of war, Hebrew-language media have repeated threats from Israeli officials stating that Tel Aviv will soon reach a decisive point regarding its operations in Lebanon.
Continuing their attempts to create a climate of fear against Lebanon, the occupying regime’s Channel i24 News quoted an Israeli official who said: “We will soon reach a turning point concerning operations in Lebanon.”
The Israeli Broadcasting corporation cited another official claiming that Hezbollah has smuggled hundreds of short-range rockets from Syria into Lebanon over recent months. The Israeli military has only succeeded in neutralizing part of these shipments. This information was reportedly communicated to American officials recently visiting Tel Aviv. Simultaneously occurring, Tel Aviv authorities reiterated direct requests for attacks on Lebanon.
Previously, Israeli media had reported that their military is preparing for a strong renewed offensive against Lebanon; however, details about this plan remain classified. Discussions persist about preparations for a conflict expected to last several days.
The Hebrew newspaper Ma’ariv also published a visual report indicating Israel intends to intensify strikes inside Lebanon. This would increase pressure on Beirut’s government to disarm Hezbollah.
This Israeli outlet emphasized that Tel Aviv’s security agency estimates Hezbollah may launch attacks against Israel amid ongoing strikes by Israel and internal Lebanese government pressure demanding Hezbollah’s disarmament.
Hebrew-language media further revealed coordination between Israel and the United States aimed at countering Hezbollah’s efforts to rebuild its military capabilities.
Despite these reports from Israeli sources, Lebanese officials urge caution against falling into enemy-driven media hysteria. They stress that while the possibility of major war always remains, current field indicators are contradictory. UNIFIL forces operating in southern Lebanon have confirmed ther are no serious or real signs pointing toward imminent war against Lebanon at this time.
