The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that a light aircraft crashed over Kenya’s coastline, likely resulting in the deaths of 12 passengers.
The plane was flying from the tourist area of Diani to Kichwa Tembo,a private airstrip located within Maasai Mara National Park. It was carrying 12 people on board.
The authority has not released further details yet. Investigation teams are actively working to determine the cause of the accident.
