Palestine Islamic Jihad Responds to Israeli Crimes in the West Bank
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab Palestinian News Agency via Mehr News Agency, the Islamic Jihad Movement issued a statement denouncing Israeli military aggression against Palestinians in the West Bank. The statement highlighted that this morning’s assassination of three young Palestinians in Kafr qoud village west of Jenin city-carried out through snipers and airstrikes-represents a new chapter in an ongoing series of war crimes and organized harassment by leaders of the occupying Zionist regime against defenseless residents of the West Bank.
The statement emphasized that this assassination operation reveals Israel’s complete disregard for Palestinian lives. Israeli forces besieged a home and prevented medical teams from reaching injured victims, violating all international human rights conventions and humanitarian norms.
Islamic Jihad described these crimes as part of an organized campaign involving raids, infiltration operations, and widespread destruction conducted by Israeli occupiers across the West Bank.
According to their statement, just in recent months, more than 1,000 homes have been demolished by Israeli forces within Jenin refugee camps as well as Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. This has forcibly displaced over 25,000 Palestinians and turned large areas of the West Bank into near-abandoned zones.
the movement added that this brutal policy continues in Negev villages were recently 40 houses were demolished in Al-Sar village as part of a clear plan to uproot Palestinians from their land and forcibly displace them.
The statement concluded with a warning about threats posed by occupation plans to regional security. It affirmed that these crimes only strengthen their resolve to adhere firmly to resistance efforts defending their people and homeland.
