Russian Army Advances Continue as Ukrainian Soldiers’ Counterattack Fails
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the continuation of its army’s attacks against Ukrainian forces in Krasnoramisk, according to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik.
The ministry stated that the destruction of Ukrainian armed forces encircled in the Krasnoramisk axis is ongoing. The tightening siege on Ukrainian troops in the Kobiansk direction also continues.
In krasnoramisk, Donetsk, russian forces reportedly crushed Ukrainian positions and fully recaptured the Troyanda district from Ukrainian control.
Ukrainian counterattacks in Hreshchunivka village,Donetsk,aimed at relieving besieged units failed,according to Moscow’s statement.
The statement added that Russian troops thwarted efforts to free encircled Ukrainian soldiers in Netsholodivka village near Kharkiv. Units from Russia’s Northern Army continued advancing deep into enemy fortifications targeting both personnel and equipment.
Moreover, Russian air defense systems shot down 124 Ukrainian drones during recent operations.
Russian armed forces also struck a military airport and a train transporting military equipment for Ukraine’s troops.
