Al-Qassam Brigades Ready to Return Body of Another Israeli Prisoner + Video
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have confirmed finding the body of another israeli captive inside a tunnel in Gaza. They will transfer the body to representatives of the International committee of the Red Cross at 8 p.m. local time, according to a report by webangah News Agency citing Al jazeera.
A source within the Palestinian resistance told Al Jazeera that this is Amiram Cooper,an Israeli captive whose body was discovered on Tuesday inside one of Hamas’s tunnels in northern Khan Yunis,southern gaza Strip.
Palestinian media aired footage showing Qassam fighters and specialized units working to retrieve Cooper’s body from inside the tunnel.
This proclamation follows yesterday’s statement from a Hamas spokesperson confirming that 18 bodies of Israeli captives have been handed over so far. They also emphasized ongoing efforts to return remaining bodies as quickly as possible.
