Israeli Media Claims Death of Occupying Soldier in Rafah
Israeli media report the killing of an Israeli soldier in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, followed by airstrikes targeting the city.
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Manar, Israeli media claimed that a soldier from the Kfir Brigade was killed by gunfire in Rafah in southern Gaza.
Earlier reports from Israeli sources had indicated that this soldier was critically wounded by sniper fire.
Al Jazeera’s breaking news also reported that following these developments,Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on Rafah.
